Summer Show & Salmon BBQ

Always the last full weekend of July, The 2013 Dates are Saturday, July 27 with 2 performances [1:30 PM and 7:30PM] and the Salmon BBQ at Washington Park on Sunday July 28th. This is a 58-year tradition, not just in the Evergreen District, but across North America.Spanning 2 full days, it's one of the most colorful Barbershop shows in the country. The An-O-Chords have a well-deserved reputation for hosting the best quartets in the world for this show.

In addition to the 40-plus-Voice Barbershop Chours - The An-O-Chords we will have Madison Park, our Headliner Chorus and other Special Guests will be announced in the future.

Join Us, for a day in beautiful Washington Park for a day of fantastic food and barbershop. Starting at noon you can feast on a meal of BBQ salmon, baked beans, coleslaw and bread all for $13. Kids can get a gourmet hot dog, a bag of chips and a small drink for $7. And the ambience is Free! Bring lawn chairs, a blanket and a bottle of sunscreen!

Don't miss the Novice Quartet Contest! Beginning at 1:30, enjoy the novice barbershop quartet contest as novice and pickup quartets vie for the coveted An-O-Chord baseball cap. "Novice" might not be a good choice of words here; there are some really fine performances on the little beach front stage!  Get a foursome together and join the fun.

Family Friendly?  YOU BET!  There's a very nice play area for the kids right next to the Picnic area.  Come on out, enjoy the sun and watch the ferries come and go, a bask in the harmony of the An-O-Chords and their friends!
